Ornithophobia is the fear of birds. It can range from a mild discomfort around birds to a severe phobia that prevents outdoor activities in urban environments where birds are common. The phobia is often triggered by the unpredictable movements of birds, their beaks and claws, or a traumatic encounter.

- Intense anxiety when birds are nearby
